Splitsy ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our bill-splitting app.
Receipt Images: When you scan a receipt, the image is sent to our servers for processing. We use AI to extract item names and prices. Images are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers.
Usage Data: We track how many receipts you scan each month to manage free tier limits. This is stored as an anonymous count linked to a randomly generated device identifier.
Friends List: The names you add to your friends list are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this information.
Purchase Information: If you subscribe to Splitsy Pro, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information.
